![]() ![]() ![]() I enjoyed the process of Belly selecting bridesmaids and understanding how her best friend from high school related to her best friend in college. Han deals with friendships fairly well also. I love her naiveté and how headstrong she is, but at the same time, I can't help wanting her to grow up a little and relating to her poor parents. This book could have been entirely unpredictable if not for a few minor details!īelly is still super immature to the point that it really frustrates me sometimes. I didn't like that this book had chapters from Conrad's point of view I think it would have been much stronger to have left the narration more limited. Han knows what love is and how it feels, and she captures it perfectly in this book, in a way that made my heart break and feel full multiple times over and at the same time. There can be a difference between first love and last love, between true love and love that you make work. I sometimes think that everyone experiences love a little bit differently, and often I get frustrated with books for placing a lot of value on relationships that I couldn't see lasting. ![]()
